Three-colour molding is an advanced version of two-colour technology, combining three different materials or colors in one molding cycle. The process uses a precision rotary core or platen system to inject the first, second, and third materials into different cavity areas sequentially. After each injection, the mold mechanism rotates or shifts precisely to ensure tight bonding between material layers without delamination. This process enables complex functional and multi-color cosmetic parts to be molded in one shot, greatly reducing secondary assembly operations.
